Clarisse Crémer crosses the finish line of the 2024 Vendée Globe!
77 days, 15 hours, and 34 minutes - that’s how long it took Clarisse Crémer to complete her second Vendée Globe, crossing the finish line this Monday, January 27, 2025, at 04:36:28, securing an impressive 11th place!
An unusual arrival, much like her journey, marked by violent winds and relentless waves. For the first time in the history of the race, weather conditions forced her to head to an alternative port. As a result, Clarisse was warmly welcomed in La Rochelle instead of the iconic Sables d’Olonne. "This Vendée Globe has been an incredible gift," she shared, with palpable emotion despite missing the legendary channel of Les Sables.
Through a demanding, intense journey filled with self-surpassing moments, Clarisse has shown she truly belongs in this legendary race. We are proud and confident that she will continue to inspire the world of sailing and push the limits of what is possible.
