Compétences requises :
> Business fluent in English (spoken and written), and knowledge in French and 2 other languages > At least 5 to 8 years professional experience in Business Development, preferably within the Renewables Energies/ Energy industry, or in a similarly business oriented and/or commercial facing position > Entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of economic understanding > Excellent analytical and conceptual skills > Self-starter with strong ability to use initiative and drive your own ideas and concepts > Goal and result orientated, assertiveness and a high degree of autonomy > Confident and very strong communication skills > Willingness to travel > Enthusiasm and passion for the expansion of renewable energies > Degree in law or economics, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable degree > Very good knowledge of MS Office
The International BD Manager, in close cooperation with the director of our Beirut office, will support H2air in extending internationally its wind and solar activities, with a first focus on Middle East, Southern Europe and Northern Africa. Other markets are possible depending on candidate profile. As successful International Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the entry into new markets and the setting up of potential new business units. You will be part of our high-performance, interdisciplinary team. You can expect challenging tasks in a European and international environment. The position will be based preferably in our office in Berlin. Location in one of our offices in France could also be possible depending on the profile.
RESPONSIBILITIES > Identify and evaluate potential market opportunities and trends > Conception and implementation of concrete business development strategies > Network and build relationship with business decision makers at all levels in the industry in order to create business opportunities > Identify and initiate new strategic partnerships to support the new business strategies and markets > Prepare market, product and competition analyses as well as screen & evaluate potential products and partnerships > Prepare and lead commercial and contract negotiations for the implementation of business development strategies > Prepare all elements and analysis necessary to support the investment decisions for H2air management (in particular, examination of legal and financial feasibility and risk, if necessary, with the involvement of internal and external experts) > Support the establishment of business plans in close coordination with the management, the finance department and the respective external partners > Represent H2air at meetings, conferences and trade fairs at home and abroad, in order to increase H2air’s visibility on the market and look for new market opportunities
